Baked Candied Apples

3 cups of sliced Granny Smith or Red Delicious Apples
1 stick of Butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup cinnamon red hot candies
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla

Simmer all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until candies melt. Pour mixture into a pyrex baking dish and sprinkle lightly with Nutmeg
